Volunteer Program

volunteer_flyer.jpgWCDC Volunteer Program – The Worcester County Developmental Center, Inc. has many volunteer opportunities available for community members in a direct or indirect capacity to benefit the individuals who receive services at the center. The purpose of the Volunteer Program is to enhance the services to adults with developmental and/or physical disabilities by strengthening existing programs and providing additional opportunities to promote and encourage community involvement… connecting persons with disabilities and community members.

Volunteers can contribute their time and engage in specific voluntary service activities on a short term or long term basis. Volunteer assignments are focused on the volunteer’s interest and skills and scheduling accommodations required for the volunteer.

All Volunteers receive an orientation to the organization and its mission, all pertinent safety procedures and policies, and any training required by DDA and WCDC in order to function in the position assigned.
