In December 2007, WCDC moved to a temporary site located at 310 East Market Street in Snow Hill, MD. This location provided an 8000-square-foot facility and was provided and remodeled by Royal Plus, Inc. Our temporary home is allowing us to continue providing day program services until we can rebuild and relocate back to Newark, MD. A special thank you to Royal Plus for our temporary building and all the work it took to get us here. We thank each and every person, civic group, and business for all the donations; helping us in our time of need.

In the near future we will officially start our Capital Campaign to rebuild our facility that was destroyed by a fire on September 4, 2007. A new and larger facility has been a need and our dream for a long time. We hope for continued support from our community. We will continue to steer by our mission and vision, working tirelessly to stay at the forefront of providing invaluable services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

WCDC is fully licensed by the Maryland Department of Health & Mental Hygiene, Office of Health Care Quality and funded by Developmental Disabilities Administration.
